So far, users of Jetstream include 154 institutions and represent 51 disciplines and sub-disciplines of science. Many of the users had never before submitted a research allocation request for an XSEDE-supported computational resource.

As of February 2017, more than 35 million SUs have been allocated to users of Jetstream, and more than 1,100 people have accounts on the system. Adoption of Jetstream has been particularly rapid among life scientists and earth scientists. In addition, over 1,000 people using the Galaxy bioinformatics software system via usegalaxy.org had jobs processed and executed on Jetstream.

We are also attracting a diverse constituency. So far, users of Jetstream include 154 institutions and represent 51 disciplines and sub-disciplines of science. Many of the users – including a majority of the people who applied for research allocations on Jetstream during the last two allocation request cycles – are people who had never before submitted a research allocation request for an XSEDE-supported computational resource.
