Jetstream2 is a flexible, user-friendly cloud computing environment available to US-based researchers and educators at no cost through support from the National Science Foundation's Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem: Services & Support (ACCESS) program. Follow the steps below to get started!
Get started with Jetstream2
1. Create your account.
Jetstream2 is a resource provider for the NSF's ACCESS program, so our users must first register for an ACCESS ID. You'll use this ID to apply for an allocation, manage your project, and log in to Jetstream2.
2. Request an allocation.
Once you've created an ACCESS ID, you can use this to apply for your own ACCESS allocation. When you have an allocation, you'll receive credits that you can then spend toward Jetstream2 resources.
3. Get started.
When you have your ACCESS ID and allocation, it's time to officially become a Jetstream2 user! Our Getting Started Guide contains step-by-step instructions to help you begin using your Jetstream2 resources.
